SECUREKLIP OFFICIALLY LAUNCHES AT THE BAR AND NIGHTCLUB SHOW

(SecureKlip, Inc. Laguna Niguel, CA: www.SecureKlip.com ) Heidi Hayes, the morning anchor for Fox 5 news (KVVU-TV) in Las Vegas had promised her viewers a pre-show look at some of the new drinks that would be unveiled the next day at the Bar and Nightclub Show (The Show). But what she found was even more interesting to her viewers… finally someone had come up with an innovative solution for women and their purses. SecureKlip, a sleek, precision precision-engineered molded plastic device with a unique patent-pending retention tip, attaches to virtually any flat surface to easily accommodate any combination of purses, bags or other belongings.

Hayes couldn't hide her enthusiasm as she asked her viewers to look under the table at the little plastic clip where a purse was hanging. “This should be on every table in every bar and restaurant across the country.” Hayes declared, continuing “This is one of those products that you just hit your head, and say ‘duh!’”

Hayes’ reaction to SecureKlip, was much like the reactions heard for the next two days on the show floor. Though nestled in a corner of the vast trade show floor, SecureKlip garnished a flurry of activity in their small booth that was three deep for most of the show. Interested bar, nightclub, restaurant and hotel people vied to see what this new solution might bring to their establishment. The chorus of feedback ranged from “This is exactly what we’ve been looking for,” to “Why hasn’t anyone thought of this before?”

SecureKlip is a lifestyle device, born from the true test of experience. “Every time I went out to eat, I found myself uncomfortable with the options available to me for what to do with my purse,” says SecureKlip, Incorporated, co-founder and president, Cathy Wood. “If I placed it on the back of the chair or on the seat next to me I felt like I was extending an invitation to a thief. Wedging the purse between my ankles was one of the safer alternatives but made for a very awkward dining experience. Placing the purse on the table made me think of all the places that purse had been which made the prospect of putting it in the same space where I was eating and drinking a very undesirable choice. The floor of course created even more problems, because in addition to running the risk of forgetting it was there, I knew from many articles I’d read that an alarming amount of bacteria, in addition to dirt and grime is picked up by purses placed on floors!” It was one evening when Wood was out with to dinner with her husband Bob DePew, that her usual question, “Where do I put my purse?” struck a chord. DePew, who manufactures products for a living began to envision a practical solution that would benefit patrons and establishments alike.

“We engineered SecureKlip from a strong molded plastic as a practical and effective solution,” states DePew. “Tested to hold up to thirty pounds over time, SecureKlip’s applications are numerous,” he continues. From Restaurants, Bars, Nightclubs and Casinos to Salons, Sports Arenas, Theatres and Schools, SecureKlip is the new answer to the age-old question, “Where do I put my purse?”
